I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said. The events of Japan have devastated me beyond that of any past disaster during my lifetime. 9-11 was a shock which left me numb. I feel awkward doing this, but, uh, hello! I was browsing the help_japan auctions, and saw you link here about helping animals, and, uh.

I'm actually in Japan right now, up in Iwate, and while I'm desperate to help the people of my prefecture (and everyone else), I also am...very fond of kitties. ;~; I will probably send a bit to ARK or the Japan Cat Network, but on the latter I was reading through and it said there was a way to help by bringing them traps over from America -- and part of my family will be coming to visit me in August, so I can probably coerce them to do that for me. (I also try to look after the cats around my city, especially since we don't have good shelter resources so I'm afraid of them getting death-truck'd if I call anyone. But the ones on campus are so gentle, and all of us students make sure they're cared for.)

So I just wanted to say thanks for the links, and let you know that someone took use of them! ♥
