Oh!!!!! I enjoyed this so very very much. I'm sitting here with a huge grin on my face.

I love Hachi's text message - it's so very in-character. I was laughing over it throughout the whole piece and then when I reached

"Hey! Keep it down, we're in your parents' home!" Takumi scolded.

"It's ok! Husband and wife should be lovey-dovey!"

I started laughing all over again.

There were a bunch of really sweet moments in this, too - I love that you included the Komatsus. ♥!

I was mostly worried about portraying Takumi properly. I was trying to think of something sweet for him to do that wasn't out-of-character.

Takumi in general can be very tricky to get right, so I applaud you for attempting him doing something a lot of people wouldn't. His getting annoyed at Hachi's guests and whisking her away to her family's house where he meets her is very in-character for him - it's sweet, but if you look deeper it shows his manipulative streak. So you did an excellent job, I couldn't tell you were at all out of practice.

Very nicely done. Maybe a tad treacly, but that's definitely allowed for fanfic, and I felt you had the character of Hachi very solid.
