Yay, I got gas this afternoon!

The rain was brief but what a beautiful storm! The temp dropped 11 degrees in like 2 minutes, and then it got creepy and WHAM! Love thunderstorms :)

No falling for relatives!

LOL Don't worry--I have no intention of falling for him. As I said, he's practically a brother. But he's a ridiculously funny guy. Very dry wit.

And yes, the rain was fantastic! It didn't storm where I was, but it drizzled lightly for several minutes. And the temperature drop was wild! In Arlington it went from 102 to 85 in about half an hour. Crazy! That definitely needs to happen more often. 'Twas a pleasant change of pace. :-)

It was SO weird watching the weather report, with 103 temps in Denton and 83 in Waxahachie. Like there was an invisible line split down the side of the DFW area. CRAZY indeed!

Dry wit is always a plus. Very British :)

What is it with gay guys being so great? Not fair.

And yeah to the news clip. I saw one scroll across FoxNews once that said "Tiger Woods infers that he will be playing in 'some random golf tournament' even though the list has not officially been released." I'm all, really? He inferred it? So you knew he was listening to someone speak and guessed that he'd be in it? Or did you mean implied? Since there was mention of him speaking outside some clubhouse somewhere, I think that's probably what they meant. Morons.

LOL You'd think people who wrote stuff for a living would know basic word usage things like that... but perhaps our expectations are a bit high. Some of these writers would never make it past The Council at CM. ;-)

actually, that particular news article is from a few months ago...

but i'm sure there are lots of other reasons why gas prices will continue to go up, so it's still good advice. :)

LOL That's what I get for not checking the dates on the articles...

My dad said he'd seen something about it on the news (and it actually has been on the news the last couple of days, which is actually the first I'd heard of it). o.O I Google-searched and it pulled that. Maybe he just heard about new developments in the investigation.

Either way, someone screwed up and we're probably still going to end up paying more for gas. I'm going to learn how to do the I-Dream-of-Genie thing and nod my head and magically appear places. Seems cheaper that way. :-)
