Quick update: HAL, a friend and former college roommate from Back Home (or close), is going to be in Boston this weekend for a job interview on Friday. I'd like to drag him around the city a bit and introduce him to my friends. What are people doing this weekend

I'd like to meet him. I'm not sure what this weekend will be like. It's either OMG busy or free except for some labwork in the morning and a party with Matt on Saturday (and plans for a trip to the harbor islands on Sunday if I can... welcome to join for that).

I'll be around. I should be free except for Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.

I have no input on the house thing. I have no* money and doubt I'll stay around here for 30 years so it's easy to put off.
It would be neat to tear a place up and make it home. Of course my dad's been working on remodeling for as long as I can remember and hasn't really finished.

I'm leaving for Texas sunday morning and have a bunch of stuff to do in preparation over the next 2 days. I need to get to bed at a decent hour on saturday but perhaps we could barbecue or go out for dinner saturday evening?
