Kyakyakyakyaaaaa~ Omg. This chapter was my favorite! I loved the parallels and differences between the initial scenes at the breakfast table, and the foreshadowing of things - Dorrek's implication that there is something that has made his Grandmother decide to betroth him now (and am I to imagine by your tumblr responses that it might be this person that Dorrek is interested in

And also thank you, I worked hard on those two scenes, and setting up their familial situations. I kinda feel the rest of the chapter isn't as good as the intro, so it's a little amazing to me to hear that's your favorite part ahahah!! It makes me feel a lot better about how I wrote. That I managed to get across the things I was trying to convey. @///@

Neither one of them is instantly smitten by the otherYesssss, that's a big part of this story for me. They do not have a love at first sight romance going for them. They have to learn to accept each other first as friends, before anything romantic sparks
