Ginny was wrapped around the tired form of Gabrielle, who was sleeping in her arms in the large bed in Ginny’s messy bedroom. Gabrielle had been spending more and more time with Ginny and in England, and the frequent trips made her tired when she arrived. Ginny bit her lip, wondering if Gabrielle was asleep. She stroked her hair gently. “Gaby?” She whispered softly, “are you asleep?”
“No’, no’ when you talk.” Gabrielle said tiredly, opening an eye at her. “Wha’s wrong?”
Ginny blushed. “Nothing’s wrong.” She said nervously. “i just...um...well...you see...”
“Babble anuzzer time.” Gabrielle said tiredly. “Just talk, Ginny.”
Ginny loved the way Gabrielle said her name, and she laughed nervously. “I know it’s a bit sudden, but I was wondering if you wanted to...to move in here with me--I know you’d have to move and...”
“Oui” Gabrielle said softly, interrupting her with accepting and a gentle kiss. “And three months is not sudden.”
“Yes?” Ginny said, eyes wide, disbelieving.
“Yes.” Gabrielle agreed, shaking her head. “Now go ta sleep, because ‘oo fail at peellow talk.”
