Grey lines at the top and bottom of the layout

Hello!
I'm having trouble when I want to try applying a new layout. There are two problems:
1. There is a grey line just below my navigation strip. If I delete my navigation strip, there'll be a long grey box.

Probably has to do with you having a plus account and your ad settings. How are your ads set? Between entries, in the sidebar?

I change the ad settings to vertical and the grey lines disappeared! thanks so much!
I've used adblock since forever so I totally didn't think it's got something to do with my ad settings orz

But now I think it means I can't use navigation strip in this layout, because if I use the navigation strip, there'll be no gap between my navigation strip and my top entry.
