Well here is the answer to your question:
On your LJ home page or profile, hover over "Journal" tab at the top & click on "Customize Journal Style"
On the top right make sure you select your community's account and click "Switch"
Then scroll down and find "Presentation" under the "Display" tab
Under "Basic Options" you should find "Disable customized comment pages for your journal"
Change it to "Yes" and Save Changes
