You need to find out who is doing this because you don't want it to escalate, and even if you can't get the asshole(s) on gaybashing, you can get them on vandalism, or maybe something more, like malignant intent or something... I'm sure the law can be on your side if you find the right way to swing it.
Maybe it's time to rig up a cheap camera to record the area outside of your house to find out who might be doing this.

Our neighbor is very paranoid and rigs cameras all over, but just so happened he didn't have them on last night. I'm not as worried as I was earlier. turned out it was High-schoolers that had just graduated, being fucktards, more info will come.
