Where are the Flexible Squares and Smooth Sailing themes?

I just checked and no flexible squares. I opened a support ticket. We shall see what they say.

Hi! I volunteer with LJ Support [though I'm not an actual paid employee of LJ].

Unfortunately, these styles were discontinued. I can't answer why [I'm just a pleb, I don't decide what LJ does], but they're gone now.

If your journal/community is ALREADY using a discontinued theme, it will stay that way. But if you ever change away from the theme, you can't go back to it.

That's just, sad and a bit upsetting to be honest. I wish we'd been informed about this. This community has basically gone to waste.

I just change my layouts yesterday and not notice about flexible squares until I saw your post O.O

I'm not surprised but the last time I played with my layout there were more of the newer templates than the older ones.
