Probably a scrap and needs editing; I figure it's quite hard to read/follow from this, but heck, I’m not dabbing on this thing any further, because I AM HUNGRY AND I NEED FOOD. Feedback will be very much appreciated and eagerly humped.

Chilling, really, really chilling.

“Sha-” Soth hears the dark elf begin, but the word does not end; there is a scream in a dying breath. “No!”

“Shh,” Soth hears the archmage murmur, “Rest now.”

There is a quiet whimper. The string that the apprentice’s life was hanging on has now snapped.

*shudders* That is just twisted. I love it.

And the worst thing is I didn't feel the slightest bit sad when I wrote that. D: I actually enjoyed it.

Oh deadr.

ALSO, indeed, they should just give us those poor misguided characters (so we can rip their limbs off). Seriously, if I read another book where a well-set, well-built character is acting like an idiot, I'm going to ... sigh.

And bawwww... okay fine. You have your dibs, you can have Dalamar. All he ever does is to flit around whining about Raistlin anyway. And bleeding everywhere.

I'll take Palin. I bet I can get him to do my laundry for me.

They really don't seem to care about DL any more, and since we do... hey, if they open-source it, I can publish I&E! All these years will not have been for nothing.

I think DL got a little too old. I mean... some twenty years is a long time. I guess it walked into the period where it would start outstay its welcome when the books eh, started getting out of hand. Yeah, some of them are just great, but there's simply too many writers...

Heck, isn't it almost open-sourced anyway?

And I guess--no matter how small the fandom, the pleasure in creating fanwork lies in the fun you get from it.

And off topic: They should have Dragonlance over to the fans if they don't want it any longer. Dib on Dalamar! Raistlin will be public property.

Lord Soth makes an AWESOME view point character! And Raistlin is at his creepy best here. Poor Dalamar, though. But I'm sure he won't stay dead for all that long. *smirk*

Indeed, he was fun to write... in the beginning he was only standing around there being insignificant, but then decided to take the whole thing into his hands. And I'm convinced my Raistlin isn't SERIOUS ENOUGH sometimes. He really likes to point and laugh at things (and spout "witty" commentary). ...and now I'm thinking about Raistlin resurrecting Kit and Dal both and playing with them like Barbie dolls. And getting bored. And killing things. Playing with them again. ...etc.
