TRUST ME, it's a good thing. It means that you've reached people. With your writing. Do you know what it means to be able to have that kind of power? Moving people to tears!! Awesome.
Plus, this is what I was telling you before...this is Lee&Kara: EPIC. Bloodshed. Spanning across time and space. It needs to get worse before it gets better in order to make the good times that much sweeter. Things are more appreciated when you've worked for them.

This? This just broke me. But it was beautifully done. MASTERFULLY done. I don't know if I'll ever quite recover from that image of Kara cradling Lee's body, her grief so internalized. Her world gone.

And the way you used the "might have", "could have" moments to convey the surreality of it all? Simply brilliant.

I was never sure how people would react to this chapter. I remember in the beginning I just wanted to skip over posting this one because I was such a chicken.

It means a lot when people like you say things like this about how I handled the writing of Lee's death. It was a very difficult thing for me to know if I'd grasped it properly since this is the one thing in this fic that has no precedence in canon. I have no idea how Kara would have reacted, so that was a tricky exercise for me.

You're really saying just the nicest things here, Bee. If someone complimented me like this to my face I wouldn't stop blushing for ages. Thank you so much for such sweet, amazing encouragement!

WHAT? I don't even know what to say. I am speechless. Great job with all the action btw, it's tough to write and it was definitely a pleasure to read.

Thank you tons of times over for approving of the action. Action is hands down the hardest thing for me to write. Action is so difficult to portray with words....I think that's why they invented television-lol.

I know you're referring to the character death but hopefully the following chapters helped. =)

My heart stopped when I read about Lee. I actually signed up for LJ when I finished reading your story. Absolutely beautiful and after this chapter I had to go away for a bit and deal with it....then come back and read until 2 am!
