I've never really watched Farscape. I have caught a few eps on syndication and I didn't think much of the writing. But then again, I think that BSG has spoiled me for scifi forever now.

But I couldn't get over how pretty everyone was...but I was confused, because I think some of the characters carried over into Stargate? Is that right? Or were they just the actors? Hmm....

Space + photoshop = pain in the ass.

I love me some Farscape, it has some AMAZING moments. They ARE pretty, right? Ben Browder and Claudia Black are both on Stargate now but they play completely different characters.

It is, isn't it? I think because the quality is already shot due to greenscreen and stuff. There's nothing outdoorsy or HQ about it so it's all indoor and pitch black space and low quality. It's a beeyotch.

I've tried to watch Farscape several times and failed, but a number of friends keep telling me that you just have to soldier through S1 and then it gets better. I just began another attempt (I am at PK Tech Girl) and since there's nothing else I want to watch right now, I just might make it through.

I think it was the "Look at the Princess" ep arc that really started to cement my love for the show, so I would agree that it gets better once you've soldiered through that first season!

My dad's family is originally from Germany-I have an unusual surname that all but SINGS German. Unfortunately, none of us speak the language-we've all been Americanized. :/
