I kept thinking they were going to pull out the xbox and then it would be a laugh and everything would be okay. But no. They're just bastards. :-(

Okay, the asshole holding the camera and yelling, "Kid's Name, we can't afford an Xbox 360!" from behind the lens needs to have the camera shoved up his ass.

And the mother. . .what the hell is wrong with her? "I told you I got you some winter clothes. . .what did you think it was? What's wrong, don't you like the box?"

BITCH. You could have gotten any box on the planet to put the kid's clothes in, but you went out of your way to put them in an XBOX 360 BOX. I hope that kid grows up to watch you die, very slowly, in a hospital room. Then, when you need money to pay your bills, I hope he hands you a shoe box, wrapped in beautiful paper, and when you open it, it turns out to be a voided check.

And when you ask him why he did something so cruel, I hope he says, "Mom, you know I can't afford your medical bills. . .what did you think was in there? What's the matter. . .don't you like the box?"

Folks wonder why certain kids grow up to be bitter, angry adults with no compassion. THIS IS WHY.

I just want to reach through the screen, give the kid a huge hug and tell him it'll all be okay in the end. . .then hand him a PSP or something. It's not an Xbox, true, but it would be more than what his mother would ever give him.

i'm all for reusing packaging - i've wrapped christmas presents for my family in empty cereal boxes on a number of occasions - but goddamn. that's just fucked up.

and it's not even like they'd have x-box packaging just lying around - they must have gone out of their way to get it! the only way it would be acceptable to give what deceptively appears to be such an awesome present is if there's a ten-pack of $100 bills at the bottom or something.

The kid's reaction kinda of reflects of how Americans will react if Obama becomes President and is finally seen as what he really is during his first year in office. Scary :O
