warning: image-heavy. now you can't blame me if your computer freezes/lags beyond control. you have been sufficiently warned.
it's like, three days before school starts, and i'm no longer using capitals. how doomed am i?
this desk hasn't been cleaned since the beginning of summer. can you tell?
there are various school supplies scattered around, most of which are brian's. the water bottle is his, too. i have no idea what that's doing there. the backpack under my desk is not ready to resume work on a daily basis. it told me so...!!
desk again. but closer. it kinda looks more organized this way. the majority of the books are mine. =) they're from the Young Wizards series and the Vampire Chronicles. i don't think i'm ready to grow up. i'll just go live with the wizards and vampires.
this is what it looks like from my bunk bed. well, that's what it looks like if you look down, anyway. when i wake up, what i see looks more like a ceiling, or a wall. or maybe a pillow and some stuffed animals. y'know, the usual.
at least my floor is sorta clean. on the right is brian's laundry hamper. he basically cleaned it out last night, so everything that would usually be there went in the wash. what you see in the basket is what he slept in, and thus, did not wash.
the white thing near the bottom reflected the flash of the camera. it's my guard rail. not that i really need it. brian's the one who falls off his bed. that's why he's on the bottom.
...this reminds me of something. storytime! --- once upon a time, brian rolled off the edge of his bed in the middle of the night. the resulting THUMP woke everyone in the house except him. brian was still asleep on the floor, wrapped in his blankets. dad came, picked him up, and put him back in his bed. everyone went back to sleep. in the morning, brian, having no memory of falling out of bed, denies everything, and thinks we're all lying to him. =)
our bunkbed, this is. on brian's bed are his clothes, newly washed. i folded them. the pile fell over because it was so tall, but at least his clothing is still folded. they'll return to his hamper soon, no doubt.
MY clothes are hanging off the edge of my bed. they're not exactly folded. and yes, those are animals printed on my bedspread. i'm extremely cool, no? =D
this is what the wall looks like when i'm still in bed! deanna gave me the poster for christmas. =)
there are glow-in-the-dark stars on the wall and ceiling, from when i was eight.
the all-purpose shelf, which is NEVER completely organized, regardless of what time of year it is. library books go on the top shelf.
*squints* HEY! ---------- i just discovered where my brother chucked my stuffed bear this morning. it's with my books.
under the picture box on the second shelf is the artist's sketchbook my cousin deney gave me for christmas. i've been too afraid to mar its pages with inferior drawings because it's so nice.
wyanne, if you look closely, your birthday presents have places of honour at the top. next to garfield(all hail the fat cat! XD) and brian's devil glow-in-the-dark duck.
i present the closet. the bottom half isn't so organized.
T_T my kilt hangs from the rack-thing. what do you call that, anyway? my kilt doesn't look like it wants to go back to school, either.
my binders are all on the chair. i labeled them, put in paper, and put tabs in my dividers two days ago. that was probably the most productive day i've had all summer.
-dresser/table/whatchamacallit
-calendar on wall
-library slips on board. this is to prevent massive overdue fees.
-So You Want To Be A Wizard book here. the rest of the box set is on the desk, remember?
-more school supplies. brian has claimed the refill paper for himself, so mom had to buy me more paper from staples.
-against the wall=where brian's library books go.
-there've been a lot of references to the library. justification>>we live down the street from one.
this is the bookcase. =) i currently consider it the most organized section of my room, excluding the floor.
the brown fluffy thing is one of brian's bears. next to it lies his wallet, which probably contains more than mine does.
the goggles aren't mine. they're not brian's, either. we think they might be dad's missing ones. we're not sure. we keep forgetting to ask.
the encyclopedia set is complete. =) i'm proud. it's been a long time since natasha gave them to me. i think it was natasha, anyway.
hurr. and that's it, children. my room is messy. bye!
