Has anyone with photoshop skills taken all of these and put them together in the actual shape of Canada? Or are they done to a scale where they could be printed to a very large single sheet?
Kate asked the same thing. They aren't too scale, because I would have to have a truely mammoth Ontario in order to make PEI big enough to carve. I've thought about printing them on one really large sheet regardless... but I think an artist's book might be my best bet.
I could try Photoshop (or ask the resident expert) too...
Thanks... Well, Ontario would certainly be a different shape without Michigan. ;)
Mainly, my sense of this province is highly tied to the Great Lakes. The provincial border is often midway through a lake, and to just show the land wouldn't be complete. Half a lake is sort of an undefined shape, but it's more obvious if the entire coast is shown. So then, there was no logic in leaving out Lake Michigan... They're a set. They go together.

Nice job on the Ontario one -- I assume with the Great Lakes outline you're acknowledging Ontario with be nothing without Michigan!
