It has a luminous quality.

it has a perfect balance of shading/detail.

the sense of movement is really nice.

Thanks so much... I had specifically worried that perhaps I had carved too much. I do like its movement myself though.

Plus, it has already sold one copy. :)

thank you! I felt good about being able to just sit down and do this (no muss or fuss or re-drawing or anything). He looks slightly dainty in his step, which amuses me greatly.
