Like words? Feed the world. You can take a few minutes and test your English vocabulary at this site. For each correct response they donate 10 grains of rice. If you keep playing, the difficulty increases, but you can always reset the counter to the beginning. I find it strangely addictive. Yeah, I can see that site getting really addictive. There were I guessed because I didn't know them in English, but they were close to Spanish words (and thus Latin, I assume). Kind of a cool concept -- taking web advertising and converting it to rice.

As it gets harder (someone spent way too much time doing this, even if it is for a good cause) that trick gets less useful, both because I found words were more obscure and less like, in my case, French words I know and because the options get closer in meaning. However, I found that you could sometimes guess the root language of the word and thus deduce which option was most likely.

That words things WAS very soothing, but I'm ticked that I couldn't get past level 47...
