here's a question that you'll undoubtedly know the answer to: how do you enable your keyboard to type accents ie: umlauts????

Ahh... actually, I don't really know that. I mean, it's reasonably easy, except a pain in the ass, so I don't. I just google "type _____ accents online". Go to website. Cut and paste. Seriously, unless you are typing German or French or whatever all the time, it is not worth the effort of changing your keybord. You can also put in the ASCII (pronounced "ass-key", honest) code, but I'm too lazy for that.
