For some reason, I think this is one of your best stories. ♥ It's a wonderful happy ending that EVERYONE wishes for Remus and Sirius. And it makes me sad, too, because I really want them to be together. God, I'm so in love with the pairing...

Aww, that's a lovely thing to say! Thank you. :) I was meant to do The Snow Queen, but came up with a plot that was more suitable as non-fanfic, if I ever get it done. Then this one suddenly appeared, and has taken ages to edit and polish, so I'm really happy you like it.

*hugs back**and squishes too* I haven't been around that much: very busy in RL, and also a lot of fanfic suddenly happened after quite a break. There's sort of PWP to come - no pun intended! - at some point. Actually, it'll probably be ready round your birthday, at the rate I'm going.

Aww! This is lovely, and a very nice reworking of the original too. You fitted new components in really smoothly, so it's both fairy-tale-ish and Harry-Potter-ish. I love the little details, like the decrees and the story behind the wolfskin, and the last paragraph is awfully sweet.

That was very sweet - your fairy tale-style stories are truly something special. Though I don't know the story it was based on - is it a well-known one in the English-speaking world?

The fairytale it's based on is quite an obscure French one, just to be awkward! It's really a variation of the Cinderella theme, with some father/daughter incest on the side, and a ring instead of a glass slipper. I was meant to be doing The Snow Queen, but got sidetracked into this one.

I'm so glad you liked the convent! :D It may be more than Nymphadora deserves, if that isn't too unfair...
