Summary: MWPP, Seventh Year: the Marauders play a prank on Snape at the Yule Ball.
Note:: This story was written for silver_sunn101, in a New Year fic challenge.

Awww. I loved all the gay/bi Ravenclaws, and their appreciation of pretty!Snape. Remus and Sirius were adorable as usual, and I loved how the narrator had a personality:

The music might be a bit discordant to ears that aren’t attuned to it, but the four Gryffindor boys assert that it’s quite good really.

The narrator was supposed to end up anonymous, but it didn't quite work... :D I replaced pincushions with teapots btw! For the record.

I wanted to comment on how sweet I thought this was, and the whole plot to hex Snape pretty was just wounderful - and I feel rather sorry for Castor not getting more before the charm got broken.

But now all I want to do is go aww!

and wonder why I really fancy pretty boy Snape.

Thank you very much! ♥ I felt sorry for Castor too. The worst thing is you just know that Snape will snarl at him and be nasty when the Slytherins are gathered in the dungeons. :(

Oh, everybody fancies pretty Snape! :D You're obviously imagining him exactly the way I see him...

I really don't know where that came from! I thought that the Slytherins, as purebloods, would at least have to pretend that they were going to carry on the line, like Castor. The Ravenclaws just seemed the way to go, for some reason. We never hear much about Ravenclaw boys, do we? There's Kingsley, who isn't straight, and a couple of Trio-era boys and that's about it. I may be wrong, when I actually think about it for a few minutes... :D

Hee! Very very cute! I really love it when the boys work together on a good prank, and this was a fantastic one. Reminds me of the Mock Turtle: Snape of the Evening, Beautiful Snape...

One teeny concrit, please ignore if you want: Snape aims his wand at directly at Castor’s head and yells ‘Avada Ked - ’ This threw me out of the story for a bit. I just can't picture him casting that just then, even though it is funny. ^___^

But, otherwise? I love the style - you really do have such an impressive range when it comes to style, something that isn't as prized as it should be IMHO in a fandom this large. And I loved the extra bed, the mystery and all the ways they used the space...it's such a wonderful detail.

And my favorite part? McGonagall. *g* Though the Cinderella charm has been prepared by three of the brightest boys in the school, it can’t stand up against the Professor. Because Minerva kicks all kinds of arse. ^___^

No problem with justified concrit! I see your point, and have changed it to Snape's very own hex, which he'd have perfected by Y 7. Hope that's a bit better: I did want to show that he's beside himself with rage.

I'm really glad you like McGonagall in this!

Thank you very much! ♥ *loves back* Well, I think a lot of people on the NNY comm are very into Snape-type pairings, which obviously I'm not... :D

And thanks for mentioning the James subtext. I'm glad it came across: by the time I'd finished with this, I found it impossible to see the subtext from the text! So I'm relieved now.
