I don't know how I lucked out with that! astra_argentea said it was cute, though she doesn't like cute, of course, and I was really pleased. It started off as a ponderous thing about the quality of light, but when I cut all the crap it was okay! :D
I'm crying now. Stardust just killed me. Very beautiful and sad. I think the last line was my undoing. Gah. I'm going to scroll up and reread Moonyfish so I'll get all warm and fuzzy inside again...
These are all gorgeous! I'm so glad you posted them here. The icecream is yummy, the fishing is adorable, and stardust is so poignant. They each have the perfect ending line. *hugs*
I thought I should keep them somewhere I can find them, because the dogdaysofsummer is getting very crowded. And they'll go down the page very soon, with all the birthdays coming up next week!
Oh, that's so sweet! I don't want to make the mistake I did with 1001 ways; I posted them on my journal and other comms, then decided to put them in one file, put the originals in memory (to keep comments) then deleted them! :D And wondered why they wouldn't come up in memories again... You need an IQ in less than 3 figures for that one. So I thought with this lot I'd bung them straight into a file, and it'll float down and not take tons of room.

Heh, Moonyfish, I think I like that one the best.
‘Shall I throw him back? He’s a bit puny.’
Heh.
