16 Thanksgivings Together

Although Kyah has more not-as-good days now, I am focusing today on the fact that she and I have now spent 16 Thanksgiving Days together!

I took both dogs to Vancouver Lake this morning (in the brief sunshine) and took a few pictures of them playing in leaves. See http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.307563065929076.81658.100000261549435&type=1&Read more... )

That's a lot of Thanksgivings! Sorry I couldn't go on the hike, we should go on one soon!

No problem. Rory and I went out for a hike after our walk with Kyah, so we got the miles in.

You could bring Meri to the Brian Abingdon clinic next weekend.... Rory and I are going on Sunday, and I think Heather is taking Haku. It's at Sherry's place in Yamhill. I'll feel smug that my Aussie grips, and you guys can feel smug that your BCs don't, or at least not as often.

Kyah knows a good gig when she finds one and is going to stick around as long as possible. Well, other than that whippersnapper she has to manage.....

Kyah is remarkably engaged in life. When she's awake, she's present (there are some evening spacey moments). I think she likes having Rory around -- most of the time.

Kyah sends her love, too, and wishes you would send some grainfree treats with your love.

Kyah looks soooo great in PINK! Almost makes me want a girl puppy. Almost. ;)

Don't tell Kyah, but that coat is sized for Rory (for a redhead she wears [strong] pinks very well). The water beads up better on it than on Kyah's blue coat, so she is pretty in pink this year. I guess it's appropriate since she's almost ready for 16 candles.

I like my girls. I keep saying I've been looking for a male Aussie since 1998, but one friend tells me I'd just confuse the poor guy. She feels girls are more able to handle my, uh, complexity. Whatever she meant by that.
