Five Quirks Meme*

Wherein I inadvertently reveal exactly how anal and eccentric I really am...

  1. I will often re-write things multiple times if it's something handwritten. If I mess up on a page of notes, I re-write the entire page rather than scratch through something. This is a quirk I have had since school-days. I just can't stand strikes or scribbles on paper ( Read more... )

lol, I have most of your quirks. The only thing thats sort of different is the reading while eating. I do notice I eat better while reading but chris enjoys watching the tube so we end up doing that, or just talking. but when I'm by myself I've got a book in front of me. :)

Yeah, I think I too rely on the company of books as dinner companions moreso when I am alone than with family. :)

I'm like that wish lists and clothes in the closet too. Red is on a shelf in its own section, separated from the rest of the colors by a hanging shoe bag. I don't walk around while brushing, but I cannot sit still on the phone at all. I clean everything while on the phone. And please, feel free to tuck in my tag, because I know it's always hanging out.

I walk around while on the phone, too! And absent-mindedly straighten the cushions or line the books properly etc.

I'll tuck in your tags if you remind me to take the price tags off my clothing before going out. Alex still teases me about how went to that upscale Vong restaurant in NY while I had a big sticker of "size S - $19.99" on the back of my shirt. And I had *no* idea. :P

I draw square checkboxes...
Haha! Never heard of this one before.

Here's mine:
• I get put off by people faking emotions. Laugh / Smile if you really feel like it - else don’t. Such a sad way to emote.
• Often people while away all the time they have in hand and rush into things at the last moment, probably even bothering other people involved. Hate to see this happen.
• Spots on a mirror of any kind doesn’t really appeal to me, especially the one above the vanity counter. I start to clean it, even if it weren’t my house.
• I hate to see artworks of any kind not displayed properly, but are just lying around the house. I often see that in some of my well traveled friends’ homes.
• I have trouble using the rest room in a new place - especially when I am visiting relatives. I have to know the place is clean and sometimes I take even 3-4 days to accept that :)

I really am a weirdo! ;)

I'm completely with you on this one. Most people who do this are so transparent that you can tell they are faking it, anyway. Lame.

Again, I can relate. But sheer necessity makes it unable to not use the loo. So, in such cases I umm... don't really sit, but "hover." LOL. I think you get what I mean. :P

#5 -- I'm the same way. It drives me batty and I usually wind up saying something (if I know the person) and tucking it back in for them.
