i love cindy's narrative voice. i love her 'tude. i bet she looks terrible in that bridesmaid dress, tho. and alec is adorable (and very violently protective O.O ) as usual.

I know! It is intangible as a very intangible thing. I have about a dozen other stories sitting around waiting to be fleshed out about the two of them. Something about their characters accidentally meshing really appeals to me!

I love it! Poor OC getting roped into a wedding, and poor Alec getting roped in right along with her. I particularly love the ugly dress, because what wedding is complete without horrible bridesmaid's dresses? I also love the details of Cindy fixing Alec's appearance much like a mother would do for a small child, and Alec letting her!

Poor Alec. So many of his ideas about "normal" events are influenced by movies and wishful thinking. Or worse, simple acceptance that things suck so might as well not worry about it. Not sure which is more sad, technicolor influenced ideals, or complete acceptance of reality.

Thanks for writing! Alec and Cindy friendship is my very favorite DA genre. *g*

Thank you! It is really hard not to play with the details of life that Aldc knows of, and what's he's actually experienced. I really like the X5 concept for that weird mix of capable and childish.

And I adore the fact that you write so much Cindy and Alec. There doesn't seem to be an abundence of Cindy and Alec fic.
