[This is Clover stomping into the Center, clad in a jacket, a scarf, leggings and her usual earmuffs. Her hat is magenta with a fluff ball to match those on her boots, and she is accompanied by a Furret.
Her cheeks are pink, and she looks like she's lost some sleep. The Furret keeps a good distance away from her - which is a good idea. She's fuming and worried and exasperated and tired and -
Whatever. She slams a hand on the table and scowls.]
There you are! Where have you been?! Ugh, I was worried sick!
[skdfsddsfjsdlkf--he startles awake (he'd dozed off again) and jumps up in his seat, eyes wide and surprised that somebody is here. The sound of her slamming the table even overlapped with something--something loud--in his short dream; he can feel his heart thumping loudly with adrenaline. Can she hear it? he wonders.]
[If it's in a dream, you can have it. Because the only thing Clover can hear right now is herself scolding Miles. Possibly for the first time since they started living under the same roof with Ken. She places both palms on the surface of the table and leans in closely, narrowing her turquoise eyes at Miles.
This isn't any mood swing. Clover is angry because she has been looking all over for him, angry because she made him worry, angry because she failed to find him, let alone take him home...
The Furret waits not too far away, preferring to stay out of this.]
Duh! I've been looking everywhere for you! Did you know that I couldn't sleep last night because I had no idea where you were?!
[He leans back in his chair, away from her. He's still not completely awake yet, trying to keep up with her-- The Growlithe that had been sleeping in the chair next to him has woken up now, jumping to his feet and scrambling off to find Pess, who's woken up and is watching the shouting from a little distance away.]
... I was planning to be home last night. I must've fallen asleep. [His hair is sticking up and he has lines on his face from falling asleep on his arms. He's still groggy.]
[Fuu, on the other hand, has a hard time of that. She's working today, in the morning, but she's almost always in the center. Which is why in a few moments, Miles will find a cup of tea before him, set there by someone who isn't on the clock just yet.]
You shouldn't sleep at tables. You're likely to hurt your back.
It's fine. Others normally do much worse. Do you need help cleaning up? [She's already righting the books so they don't fall on the floor... or on Miles, somehow.]
[There's no way Larry would be up at that time, so a little later in the morning, he catches Miles' post and goes to see if by chance he's still at the Center.
[They'll probably bump into each other at the door, Miles followed by his Growlithe and carrying a big, heavy-looking backpack. He's surprised to see Larry here.]

[He acts far more calm than he is. He did not sleep last night, but he did not go after Miles.
Because there are times when people have to be alone, and he can respect that 8C]
