The gym leaders all have rather...overbearing personalities, don't they?

I know a lot of people with colorful personalities, but it seems to be a common trait among gym leaders here.

[ He makes a bit of a face. ] They must have somewhere, though. Nurse Joy would probably have needed some training.

To some extent, it seems as though they don't believe there is much else worth learning.

Even then, though, you would think they would have a more available education for Pokémon engineers. There must be quite a bit of schooling involved in making Pokéballs, and they must have some form of engineers for the buildings and electrical system.

A lot of occupations here should require a high level of education. Despite that, I haven't seen any educational establishments of any sort aside from the trainer's school. It's strange; in fact it's concerning.

... I'd just like to keep up with my education, personally.

Perhaps all the inhabitants are homeschooled or use private tutors, rather than formal schooling?

That brings about the question of where those tutors learned what they teach, though.

From their own tutors, of course. The original acquisition of the knowledge by an alternate means doesn't have to have happened anytime recently.

I guess so. [ He looks a little unsure though. ] If that's the case, I guess I'll have to give up.

I don't want to neglect my education more than I already have, that's all. I actually haven't been in school for a year now, back home.

The gym battles are different for each person, I think Some people are very serious about it, but to others it's just a game or sport.
