I resent the above post because it sounds like a snide version of me.

I'm an insecure elitist with a weak personal identity mostly bolstered by the compliments of others. In spite, or perhaps because of this, I have no idea where my life is going. I feel like I've abandoned many good friends in the past few years of withdrawal from the world and am only now trying to reconnect with those I miss.
