For the last week, Critter's stomach has been bothering him. All the ordinary explanations don't apply, so the doctor ordered a CT scan for today, complete with Barium milkshake and contrast dye ( Read more... )

My most postitve thoughts go out to you both in this difficult time. Sometimes it seems its one thing after another, but I'll bet that there is light at the end of the tunnel. At least he's not alone.

Knowing he'd get to take the scans with him has to have helped. :-) Did he make a copy?

He got to keep the original CD. Unfortunately, it shows signs of two small cyst formations in his kidneys - a possible start of the polycystic kidney condition that Flar has. The CD will be helpful for comparisons in four or five years.

Gastroenteritis, which will slowly work through his system. The doctor prescribed Reglan to speed along the process.

Sounds painful. I take reglan twice a day every day. Have not had a problem with it. It can cause drowsiness though.

He seemed much perkier after school yesterday. I'm so glad he's finally getting better.

I used to have a prescription for Reglan to go with my migraine meds. I've since gotten triggers under enough control not to have a any regular scrips for migraines.
