She lay on her belly, still sleeping in the bed next to him. With the blanket tangled around her hips, her bare back lay exposed to the cool air and early morning light.
It was too much to resist, though he risked waking her as he traced the gentle curve of her spine with one idle finger.
She stirred, but was not roused from her slumber and Guy had already half edged out of the bed by the time she settled again.
