Finding Past Entries by Author

Hi- I have a question about past years entries. Is there any place where our responses are tagged with our names as authors? I had started a series of stories based on Boardwalk Empire but can’t remember the exact year. I was hoping our names were tagged with the years we participated (or just in general) so I could find it. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi- I posted this request before but you were probably too involved with the challenge to be able to answer. Is there a place where our responses are tagged with our names as authors? I’m trying to locate a story I was working on for Boardwalk Empire but can’t remember the year. I wondered if there’s a place with our names were tagged with the years we participated- or just tagged as authors so I could look for it? I would greatly appreciate the help! Thank you !

There is no tagging by name, since the only place author names appear is in the comments and we do not know who is going to be commenting on a post until they do--there is no practical way to tag.

I could potentially search on the backend and tell you what years show posts for you, and then you can filter posts by year (since that is tagged), but you would still need to check each post. For those years.

If you have a paid LJ account you may be able to search your statistics>comments page to find what you are looking for.

It is also going to be hit or miss as to whether you actually named the story you were working on anywhere on the site--we do not require participants to name their projects, share their projects or post their work, just their word counts.

Okay, on the back end, I can only confirm you participated in 2017 and 2023. Nothing in the email search revealed any comments mentioning boardwalk empire.

That being said, I do not have a good way to search participation prior to 2014 as the prior mods archived and/or deleted all those results. However, the prior mods were much better about consistently listing traking at the end of the challenge and some of the early mods even had weekly stats, so if you filter the community by the tracking tag you should have a smaller number of posts to view and can at least see spreadsheets to figure out which years you participated.
