These days are really hard without Albus. He had to go do something or other, he was very secrative about it. His job is harder than it looks. I do not know how he does it.
This have not been so good here at Hogwarts. The attack on Andromeda was quite shocking. I hope Albus comes home soon.

Minerva,
Things have been horrible. I have spent all of my waking hours with the Ministry in my own defense. Most of the time I sit in silence as each department head takes turns ripping me to shreds. I won't lie and tell you that it doesn't hurt. But I persist Minerva, I persist knowing that my place is there with my students and with you.
Terrible things often have a habit of working themselves out for the better. The other night I was informed that the Minister of Magic believes that not only am I capable of running Hogwarts, but I have been assured that I will be back at my post by the end of the week. I foresee better times ahead my dear friend, better times indeed.
I hope that this letter finds you in good health and with a happy and content student population. I worry for them and for you and my staff every moment of the day.
Yours,
Albus

I am so happy to hear that things are turning for the better. I am so sorry that I could not be there to support you in this time of torture for you. You know how much I wish I could be with you right now.
The students are doing better than before. We have been having some trouble with a particular one, I hope that you will be back in time to help us deal with him.
In other news, there will be a wedding here, at Hogwarts, Christmas night between two of our students. Narcissa Black and Lucius Malfoy will be wed. It shall be quite an occasion. I hope you will be present to witness such an event. I must go for now, so much to do, so little time.
Loves,
Mini
