Awww poor kid, Casts aren't fun at all (except when it's signed and all), and it's really good that she's being a sport about it. I Crushed my hand at a dance comp about 4 years and it was casted and I whined profusely about it for like 3 weeks (except it got me out of exams since it was my right hand).

Total kudos to your daughter hun. Hope she feels better and hope it heels fast.

Ahh, it does. I used to stick long rulers in mine to itch my arm. :)

I'm stressed, ready to leave to LA about... NOW. Work is hell and I get sick because of kids.

But no complaints, I'm still alive right?

Why is it that breaking your arm takes half a day? I have never understood that at all. Even when I was a kid, if you broke your arm, it was an all day thing.

I am so sorry about Savannah's wrist. Two places! And you have a shiner. Hugs to you both, sweetie.

Any trip to the ER or UC is a "lucky if it doesn't take all day" thing. Part of my reason to wait and see if it was better the next day was a deep desire not to be in the ER on a Saturday night when things can take all day and all night.

Hey, I hear ya. Sometimes you can't tell if something is urgent or emergent and yeah, I'd do just about anythng to stay out of anyone's ER on Saturday night.

Oh, poor girl.
But she looks cute, even in a cast. She has a very kind smile.
Don't feel embarrassed, Lisa.
Nearly all my injuries have been done in a stupid manner (broke my toe by hitting it on a hand-weight I never use, broke my rib by falling off the couch reaching for the remote control, had a bloody finger by catching it in the lock in a public restroom...). See? Hitting yourself with the car door sounds downright sensible now,doesn't it?
I hope you both feel better real soon.

Miracle of miracles I did not have a black eye the next day and I honestly don't know how I didn't. I REALLY hit myself hard. And swore a $2 swear word.
