Close, but I think it's the war to resist Stalinist aggression.

Actually, the author stresses that Mannerheim strongly urged the Finnish government to accept the Soviet demands, viewing the war as unwinnable, but was ignored as a pessimist overly awed by the Russians!

Had to fence foil again last night at Poly due to a shortage of opponents. However, off to ULU tonight - should be no shortage of epéeists there.
