So yes, the night I got totally smashed (ask Carolyn to tell you about me and the paper crane), as things quieted down and I took my sleeping pills with the last dreg of wine cooler, I was struck by the beautiful realization that I was so smashed I might actually be capable of falling asleep next to Brett, and wouldn't it be such a lovely surprise

Brett: "Look, okay, LJ, lie down, I looked up and there was this shadowy figure hovering over me, like this."
LJ: "Oh, that's really scary!"
... "But did it work when I hid on the floor?"
Brett: "Yeah, I'm like, where'd it go?"
Ben: "That's what scared me, this shadowy form crouching on the floor!"

What we learned:
Ben: "I don't like shadowy things on the floor"
Brett: "I don't like shadowy things hovering over me!"
