Went to Flanborough Head today. It's pretty, if a bit seaweed-y. We went rock scrambling and found some awesome caves carved by the sea; one really looked like it had been built with the coloumns, arches, and the strata in the rock looking like separate blocks. Good for you! I went to Flamborough a few times with the conservation group when I was at York. We didn't look at caves though.

You were lucky to see those mustelids, whatever they were. The best way to tell the difference, if you can't compare the sizes, is that stoats have a black tail tip.

They appeared to be completely brown, but my book of British Wildlife told me both stoats and weasels have white stomachs. Do you know if either don't when they're young?
