Oh, min. I just sat and read all three of them in one fell swoop and oh, my heart. :squashes them to bosom:

I'm a little punch-drunk and sleep deprived so I'm afraid I'm not very coherent but oh, heart! hearts!

i'm so glad you liked them; i'm a little stupidly in love with my own universe, and i'm so glad that other people enjoy them. ♥

*Squee* I love this so much. Especially since 'poor' Cam is stuck in the middle of what is essentially a train wreck waiting to happen.

This is all kinds of wonderful.

What I love most about your Cam is his adaptability - his universe keeps getting stranger, and he rolls with it. And the yearning that's been a part of him since we met him - you play that more bittersweet than puppyish, and I like that a lot.

And that *everybody knows* Vala's going to up and leave - sharp and cold and inescapable.

Wow...

i think, at heart, cam has to be that adaptable -- sg-1 has been nothing like he expected it to be, and he's had to keep standing through all of it. so that it extends to his personal life makes sense for me; i'm glad it worked for you, as well. thank you so much.

You write the best Cam around (and I will grant you all the Carolina b-ball stuff that I know if you being amusing to yourself!). Cam's perspective on Daniel is always a pleasure, how he's so tender and vulnerable there and doesn't let himself off the hook. Always a pleasure.

The school I went to, basketball wasn't just for fun. It was for blood, and money, and bragging rights in the state of North Carolina.
Finally, someone really understands how in certain parts of the South, basketball is a religion that eclipses everything else, especially on the college level. Other places I've heard it's football, but here in Kentucky Wildcat (or heathen Louisville Cardinal) country, the only teams that matter are UofL and UK. (And liking someone more than the Final Four means that you should've proposed marriage as soon as you realized it--or at least a mutually beneficial relationship).

He's never asked her if leaving a dozen places she might have called home has been hard. He's only counted one place in his life as home, and he hasn't lived there for a dozen years, and it's still hard.God, poor Cameron. My heart went out to the guy at that line. Because I don't miss home, but that doesn't mean that I don't know other people who do, other people who think I should ( ... )

i'm a grad student at the university of north carolina; i know exactly how it is, and i like thinking that cam knows it, too, understands it at his core. it's one of the (many) things that makes him really human in my head. :)

i'm so glad you liked this; thank you so much.

I feel your icon is the second-most appropriate icon usage I've ever seen in response to a topic. :D
