home again, home again, jiggity jig. it's cold and wet and gross here, but it was colder and wetter in chicago, so i guess. well. it evens out. there's no boyfriend or bff here.

Our basketball team is giving me a coronary. To quote a certain dead lawyer- "they're up, they're down, they're a barrel of dead monkeys."

Also, remind me that I have a question about your Thursday nights.

i listened to woody and eric call most of the second half in the car on the way home from the airport, and there were times when i almost drove off the friggin' road. jesus. i mean, i guess i should be happy that we've already won more games this season than the season in the past of which we never speak at all, but i would prefer less exciting, more routs. right? right.

my thursday nights mostly involve ... watching tv. and drinking wine. by which i mean: no standing plans. email me. :)

See, I always thought Atlantis was like a prototype for Firefly, given that Joss wrote it. At least they have the "hot girl mechanic" element in common. *g*

joss wrote atlantis? I HAD NO IDEA. the boy and i love atlantis, probably more than most people, and i had no idea that joss wrote it. HA.

i did wonder about the hot girl mechanic. i couldn't draw a parallel between sg:a and atlantis that way. *g*

Well, he did the "treatment," by which they mean "took a script and made it better." I'm assuming "made it better" included "added hot girl mechanic." *g*

He did the treatment for Toy Story as well, which in that case entailed "making it actually funny."

the sunken (flying) city shielded by power sources that have been lost for years!

YES, BUT DID THEY RAISE IT WITH ROCK AND ROLL? that is the most important thing, really.

also! i have uploaded some items for you; i shall post them tonight.

there was a distinct lack of rock and roll in the animated movie, yo. and also kel suggested that the bar last night might actually have been a genii bunker in disguise. SO. i probably should have burned it down.

email me. i am going to go pass out in my bed soon but, you know, etc. etc. YOU ARE THE BEST OF US.

I just assumed when I heard about SG:A that it was a crossover between SG-1 and the Atlantis of the animated movie

except better, because sg:a has also a cranky physicist and a sarcastic flyboy! on the other hand, i wish sg:a had more daniel jackson, too, but nobody listens to me. *grin*
