my favorite thing about stargate: atlantis, beyond even my passionate love for THE HAIR and the fact that rodney mckay reminds me way too much of myself most of the time, is that without this fandom, i would have never ever (unironically) created a tag called aliensmadethemdoit for my bookmarks

Dude. for the first month I was reading SGA fic I honestly thought there had been a challenge somewhere to write Aliens Made Them Do It stories, because there were so many, plus i thought it was an ironic meta commentary by one of the older fans on the prevalence of aliens made them do it stories in SG-1 fandom. Then someone who'd been reading SGA from the beginning told me that no, in fact, there were just a lot of people who really, really wanted to write Aliens Made Them Do It. I just about died.

SG:A is truely great among fandoms for exactly that reason. It ranks up with DC comics who gave us canon sex pollen. *sex pollen*.

And I've now added that tag to my 'tags I am tracking' list over on Del.icio.us.
