(Can I just tell you, my dearest darlingest minions, how desperately I long for the halcyon days of last spring and summer at work, when I did nothing but sit around and refresh my flist and write porn for eight hours a day, and I got paid for it? I have about six stories bouncing around in my head right now, and no time to write any of them, ( Read more... )

And in conclusion, PARAMOUNTIES.

That's pretty much what I said the first time I saw that episode. (Actually, I think it was "OMG, Due South has SKYDIVING MOUNTIES" but it's the same general idea.)

I do *heart* that episode.

What I liked about RayK was that he was even more frustrated with the Bizarro World of the Canadian Consulate than I was. Poor guy.

OMG YIS. there is not enough Billy gen.

And at one very memorable, totally humiliating moment, I was so overcome that I actually squealed out loud, top volume, and everyone on the plane turned and stared at me.

*tears of laughter!*

i watch dvds on planes on my laptop, katekate. but those portable dvd players are v.v. tempting for me, too. if i didn't have the ibook, i might.

watching movies on planes is really, honestly, the way to go. i hate flying, but being able to watch dvds makes the trip a lot a.) faster and b.) less stressful. for me at least.

I think the battery power is pretty iffy on those portables, though. Most of them, you wouldn't get through a viewing of one of the LOTR films before having to recharge (and I'm not sure you could do that on a plane).

I'm taking quite a few books with me (and epic, yay!), but I'm worried about getting motion sick. I realize that the plane doesn't move much, but I get motion sick v. easily when I'm reading. It can be mere twinges.

must pack more music.
