last night, walking from the (not the real) garden to the T, i saw a "boston college sucks" t-shirt and thought for a moment of your bc sucks icon (& therefore you).

I grew up here, and then I left for a long time, and it was good, but coming home was even better. A lot of people in other places didn't understand why I thought the South (and especially NC) was so good, such a great place, and they bought into those awful stereotypes (that are sometimes a little bit true), and they really didn't understand why I came home, and all of this is by way of saying, that was a lovely lovely tribute to home, this place I love, and thanks for letting all of us read it.
