I have Burn the Maps, if you would like it? Do you have a preferred upload site-YSI, Sendspace, or somewhere else?

i would love it! and i promise, as soon as my job settles down and i am no longer broke, i will actually pay money for it. glen hansard deserves it. i have no upload site preference -- whatever's most convenient for you, please.

1. The Sub? They're playing the SUB? That's a terrible venue. Whoever is booking them ought to be flogged. Gently. And then given a list of the better small clubs in Chicago.
2. I was at the Doughty show you're listening to. :)

i mean, maybe it's a joke because, haha, there's a song on the first album called "it's warmer in the basement", subterranean, so funny, but, really, the sub SUCKS as a venue -- the one show i saw there in my whole time in chicago was a late-night okkervil river show, after okkervil had played a street show earlier in the day, and the STREET SHOW was better than the show at the sub. i mean, honestly! the double door! schubas! the vic! the metro! hell, even park west, though i'm not sure that park west would quite know what to do with cobra's audience. anywhere but the sub.

i am very miffed about this on behalf of all the chicago fangirls i know who will go to that show. as is obvious, i'm sure. :D

i was in chicago for that show and DID NOT GO, because i am a lamer. sigh. it's such a great show.

"U2 meets mazzy star"

If that's not an intriguing description, then I don't know what is. I have to try this now. Thanks for sharing!
