Great sign yesterday:

You Can't Quiet
The RIOT!

While it bothers me that they've kicked the proper pronunciation to the curb... THE RIOT. It's awesome.

And I cannot write that. I'm a crap writer. Sorry, beloved. :(

fact: i really want to but a THE RIOT t-shirt. i feel it is something desperately necessary in my life. i pronounce his name correctly: but if you spell your name "THE RIOT", i feel you should expect to be called that. ♥

sportswriters are calling them the bayou boys and i personally am calling them "MY TINY CAJUN HOMOS". they both have silent "t"'s at the end of their last names. they've played together since LITTLE LEAGUE.

i love them very very much, can you tell? :D

*grin* Two minutes ago, collapsed on the living room floor with our laptops, reading LJ:

H: Wow, minervacat is serious about her baseball fandom.
Me: *sleepily* Uh-huh.
H: The fact that she *knows* about Theriot and Fontenot in college ball? HAWT.

(Also, I love the "TINY CAJUN HOMOS" nickname. It's ... pocket-size sports porn!)

tell him that i also know that tim lincecum threw for an ERA under 1.00 for harwich in the cape cod league in 2005. *grin*

there's just no other way to describe theriot and fontenot -- and, frankly, i really desperately enjoy SAYING "tiny cajun homo double play combo!" far too much. (i also call them "the silent t's", but "tiny cajun homos" is much better. :D)
