You called it with Nan - she held on until Halloween. Even though she is gone now, I know you have lots of good memories of her, and that's a blessing. Much love and sympathy, FanSee

That's what my gut said...and it's usually right.

I felt a kinda funny, putting my comments on Gibbs in flight in the same post as my condolences on Nan's death, but where does it say I can't post twice?

I clickety-clicked on all the pictures, and he sure does get airborne. He loves 'killing' those leaves, doesn't he? I think my favorite picture is the third from the top, because I can really see him there, but the one where he's upside down is pretty amazing, too.

Thanks for sharing and take care of yourself. FanSee

No worries. He goes nuts as soon as you throw the leaves at him. We were saying that it's too bad that he won't go after a frisbee or anything like that.

Sorry for your loss, and no it's not weird that you haven't cried. People deal with loss in their own way - there is no right/wrong/weird/normal way to deal.

Midny, I'm so sorry about your grandmother. You're in shock right now - the grieving will come. Remember the good times that you had with her.
If you feel sad look at the photos of Gibbs - they are just brilliant. He is just a happy dog. Is there anyway we can take him when we go on holidays?

We can take him to the park and to go swimming and stuff. I'm glad you liked them. They were really hard to get because he moves so fast!

So sorry, Mindy. I know what you mean; it can take a while for the reality to hit. I didn't cry when my grandfather died until the day of the funeral.
Thanks for the sweet Gibbs pictures.

About a funeral...my uncle has decided that we 'don't need one', so there might be a little service at the grave but that's it.

Glad you liked the pics.
