The directions for giving a pill to a cat could also apply to giving a pill to my late dog. That dog had the most agile tongue ever known.
Glad that Gibbs is keeping you amused and I am sorry that your Grandmother is going into a home even though I know that it is for the best.
Good luck.

Our one dog was like that. She could find a pill in anything. Our other dog couldn't have cared less.

Nan needs to be somewhere where there is constant care and she'll be getting that. I'm glad that she is going into a home.

Truly funny! Even a four-pound kitten can make administerinng a pill a two-person job. I know. FanSee

Taz is a food whore so if you crush the pill up and stick it in some wet food, he is thrilled. Willow...let's just hope it never comes to that!

The giving a cat a pill thing is dead on. Also applies to trying to trim a cat's claws. Not Angus, mind you. He just lolls around on his back and lets you do what ever you want with him. Smokey, all 7 pounds of him, is another matter. A two person, one bath towel job for anything with that wiry little bugger.

It will be a relief to know your Nan is somewhere safe and secure finally. Will her nursing home be close by?

Taz just lets my dad hold him while i trim his nails. He purrs like a motorboat. Willow is like trying to hold a slinky with claws while doing his nails.

Nan will be in Orillia, which is only 25-ish minutes away from us, which is great.
