I'm making huge progress this month!

I ended up having to revise a middle-grade novel, so I wasn't able to take the NaNoWriMo plunge like I have every year since 2006.  Sniff, sniff.  On the bright side, my family is relieved that I'm not shackled to my writing cave!

Congrats on all the great stuff you've been accomplishing! Good luck with the MG you are revising. I hope those agents love it and fight over you. :)

I get ideas from everywhere. My daughter is a great source of inspiration. You never know what she's say that will spark my creativity.

You are a writing machine, way to go Mindy!!

Novel ideas usually begin with a character I want to write about.

My picture book idea file is loading up too...using all the fabulous suggestions from PiBoIdMo!

Good luck and woot woot for the rest o' the month :)

Aw, thanks Deb!

Yay that your picture book idea file is loading up this month. Do many of your PB ideas start with a character, too? I had found that my ideas started to come a bit slower recently, and came up with several more based on fun characters I'd love to write about.
