I've only read until the part where Ichigo defeats Grimmjow and Orihime gets captured back by Stark; so i'm quite far behind. But my friend did give me spoilers about the Vaizards so i can pretty much understand what you said in the spoilers ^^;

You're not THAT behind, actually, since that's pretty close to the end of the current day stuff and the beginning of the Vizard gaiden. You definitely need to catch up, though, because the gaiden is full of win - besides the origin of the Vizard, we also get young Byakuya, creepy!chibi!Gin (emphasis on creepy), chibi!Akon, and chibi!Nanao-chan (which puts a whole new spin on her relationship with Shunsui). Oh, and Ukitake in pigtails. (giggles)

Oh, you REALLY need to catch up, since both are indeed cute, although not as cute as Nanao-chan, who pwns all with her cuteness. Urahara is also quite dorky at times, and we finally get to see the Kidou Corps (or, at least, their leaders, fufufufu).

Gin will creep you out. Seriously. He wins Creepiest Kid Ever.
