Your icon is clapping to the beat and rhythm of my music, which is both amusing and creeping me out. I can't see Alan Rickman as Snape dancing or having rhythm, nor liking music other than Chamber music or chanting or something.

I tried to do one of her and it didn't come out well either. If I get some computer time I will try again because I love how well yours came out.

I was never a big fan of Warhol. He seemed to be riding the fine line between genius and insanity like a Rodeo clown. Plus, he only really did that one thing that was revolutionary and after that, it was just the same thing done to different pictures. I imagine if I had met him while he was alive, I would've been creeped out by him, and that's not due to homophobia, either, because I am not homophobic; the guy was just a little more eccentric than what I'm comfortable with. And then he was an enabler and encourager for dangerous and extreme behavior of those around him, eventually leading to early deaths for some of them, including Edie Sedgwick. Yes, he did some great innovative things in challenging us to think outside of the box and look at things from a different perspective, but he also contributed to a seemingly unstable culture in some direct ways that I don't agree with.

if i didn't like my caption so much right now, i'd change my journal caption to this, it's brilliant. i'm saving it.

if you watch The Doors Movie (92 i think) Crispin Glover is Andy Warhol in a party scene. Who better to play an uber creep, but one of the creepiest actors we've got. Walken was too old you know!

sorry to keep forgetting, but is Edie Sedgwick one of your icons that i was asking about? i have to look up if Nico died of an OD also.. can't remembe.r

please explain: but he also contributed to a seemingly unstable culture in some direct ways that I don't agree with.

either way, you've gotta admit, to make 2 clicks and have yourself warholized instead of fucking around w. photoshop for an hour is yay.

Lol! I'm so proud! I love it when I say clever things and then have them acknowledged as clever by others ( ... )
