Wow... that's a pretty big lack of proofreading.

No no. It's a "photoshop" recreation of something I saw in the library years ago. Long time ago that sign used to be black and the letters were white. A guy (possibly slightly drunk) went around with a sharp and colored in the appropriate letters. He did this to literally EVERY sign in the library (two buildings, some 10 floors). It remained like that for some time before they could get the signs reprinted (this was before laser printers).

Ahhh... it did seem unlikely to have been printed out quite that ridiculously. :)

That's awesome. I guess he was pretty stealthy about it if he didn't get busted coloring in that many signs.
