I still bow to people

I was at funeral tonight and I kept bowing to people. And then at a job interview, I bowed several times to my prospective employer (even though he was a whitey).

Has it made situations more difficult or have people been pretty understanding?

I'm sure they just think I'm nuts :)

Hehe. After years of talking to my cat in this human-cat language I would find myself saying "mew" to people when I meant to say hello, at times. I know how that feels. People mostly try to forget that it happens because it's so brief and so bizarre that they don't quite believe it happened.

Haha, I still do that too, after 6 years of living in the US. :)

I think it's charming. I had an old college roommate [back in 1969] who did it, and sometimes I do (it's contagious). But showing respect is all to the good, there's not enough of it around.

So go for it I say!

So what if 3/4 of the popolation thinks we're nuts. This may be a recommendation.

And job interviews! Hah. If they like us, they hire us, if we're not their type, forget it. It's a form of relationship.

Why fake it? Be happy being you.

Do you speak Korean to anyone who doesn't speak English to you. I had a really hard time in Ottawa. French people must think I'm crazy.

I do this all the time!!!!! And any time I hear a non-English language, my brain starts associating it with Korean.
